Wish I could have had the foresight then to use a camera and take notes and capture those far off days. Now sadly they are just a vague memory but good ones. Kids today don't seem to have those outdoor adventures that we experienced in the sixties and seventies, its all computers and playstations. Drive around Oxgangs now and you don't see youngters doing that anymore. Eric Mullen kept notes on his LOTR calendars for a few years, I'm hoping he'll come on and post up some comments. 'Japs and Commandos' haven't seen that name used since the 1970's. I recall playing these combat games with tennis racquets used for guns, and only the richest lads had the coolest battery operated toy guns complete with sound effects whereas the Tennis racquet gunners had to make do with 'dadadadadaowww!' :D.Alan Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12587669246308336532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1927099035382448194.post-30910243594806258262012-12-22T14:09:51.131+00:002012-12-22T14:09:51.131+00:00Great pictures Peter so many of ours got lost alon...Great pictures Peter so many of ours got lost along the wayAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08126044855546946095noreply@blogger.com
