If you wish to read The Stair in a readily available and easy to read format then it's available on Amazon. This is a print only version. At a later stage I will publish an illustrated version too including photographs.

'And finally, not everyone’s being doing topical. In fact, here’s the rather lovely 6 Oxgangs Avenue devoted to the history of the development of the area, this week highlighting how the block of flats came into being. Could have been prompted by Who do you think you are? Or just a timely reminder that not everything worth blogging about is in the here and now.'

his blessWhat a fantastic blog - I only discovered it today, and have already spent way too long reading it. It's made me laugh, it's made me cry, it's made me remember things I'd forgotten about my childhood. I was born in Oxgangs in 1957, went to Hunter's Tryst. I've seen many names here that jogged my memory, including Rab Moir who I had a massive crush on when I was about 14!
don't know where the "his bless" bit came from - think it was the text I had to type in to "prove you're not a robot" !
